Beit Alpha Cucumber

Beit Alpha Cucumber is an heirloom, open-pollinated cucumber variety that is parthenocarpic, meaning it doesn't require pollinators. This makes it a great variety for growing in greenhouses or urban areas where pollinator presence may be reduced. Because they are parthenocarpic, the fruits have very few, if any, Seeds. Beit Alpha Cucumbers are nearly spineless and great for eating right off the fine. The cucumbers have a mild flavor and are best picked smaller than a traditional, American slicing variety.
